ACTIVITIES
Since the start of the Chew Hua Seng Foundation as a charity in November 2007, it has contributed and donated to various charitable organisations, supporting education programmes mainly in Singapore and China.
 

 
Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road)

Garden City Fund

Donations made to Garden City Fund to aid in the expansion of the Singapore Botanic Gardens' Jacob Ballas Children Garden. This project will increase the garden size as well as broaden its engagement to children beyond early childhood up to the age of 14.

In celebration of the Hotel's 110th anniversary, Chew Hua Seng Foundation gave its support to the charity dinner concert, where all proceeds from the event will go to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund that aims to alleviate the financial burden faced by low income families. The Fund provides for the children's education and helps children who are already facing financial difficulties to continue with their studies.

Update on Spice Kindergarten @ Serangoon

In 2009, the Chew Hua Seng Foundation supported the establishment and construction of the new kindergarten, which runs the SPICE programme that develops children’s Social, Physical, Intellectual, Creative and Emotional abilities. The Foundation has successfully funded all the capital/start up costs and initial 18 months’ equivalent of operating costs.
